National Bible Exhibition sneak preview

As part of Bible Society Australia's anniversary celebrations an exhibition of approximately 24 historically important Bibles will be displayed in a prominent location in each State capital. Here is a picture of one of the Bibles to give us a taste:

The Bible pictured is Governor Hunter’s Bible (1775 KJV Bible). Hunter brought this Bible to Australia on the First Fleet. The leather cover is elaborately carved by the convict E. Alan Kelly, who engraved his own name on the cover alongside the Governor’s.
